Thomas the owner is a real character and lovely man, full of stories of his experiences it is worth the visit just to talk to him.
The food in general is truly local authentic Cyprus cuisine with lots of home-made dishes .
The dolmades and the grilled pork chop are particularly good and the home made chips are to die for.
Guests are encouraged to join in with the sirit of the restaurant by writing out their own order and going to get their own drinks, Thomas just counts up the number of bottles at the end of the evening.
Do not worry as there are excellent staff on hand to help you through the process or take your order for food if you so wish.
It is essential that guests call in and book particularly in high season when the restaurant is extremely busy.
This is a true Cypriot taverna in every sense and one that should be experienced by everyone who wants to sample good Cypriot cuisine and culture.

This is one of our favourite restaurants and one we frequent quite regularly as the food and the hospitality is consistently good.
Thomas is a one off and very friendly, if he offers you a coffee or drink at the end of the evening, depending on how busy they are , then we recommend the Baileys and hot chocolate (delicious)
